The village in the valley of stream Čenkovička in Bukovskohorská mountaimous country near Jablonné nad Orlicí. First mantioned in the year 1340. The village is the important recreational centre and starting point to trips to mountain Buková hora. The dominant of the village is the Baroque church of St. Vavřinec from the years 1780-82. Čenkovice are one of the main ski-centres of Eagle mountains since the World War I. In the surroundings there are several downhill routes and ski lifts.
